The Brief: Choose a poem and design a storyboard to create an inspired film or animation that captures the essence of the poem in a fresh and engaging way. We have poets who have performed these poems and recorded the audio for you. You have a selection of these poems to pick from. Think lateral, not literal and don't be afraid to experiment.

We are looking after storyboards to illustrate films you would never see on TV. Don’t worry about doing the wrong thing, as sometimes the wrong thing is very right. In other words, be bold with your thinking, shock us, surprise us, astonish us, just don’t be boring.

You have license to edit the poem audio, ideally your final animatic / animation will not be more than 60seconds and not less than 30seconds in duration.
